The Association

The Aeneas Route Association, in collaboration with the Municipality of Edremit (Turkey) and many international bodies and institutions, is promoting the candidacy of the Aeneas Route Cultural Route to the Council of Europe. The Association, excluding any profit-making purpose and without any political affiliation, has his headquarters in Rome (www.aeneasroute.org) and is an operational tool for the promotion, assistance and coordination of the initiatives that are part of the Candidature programme. It has its registered office in Rome and a permanent representation at the City of Edremit; it can open its own offices, delegations or representations in Italy and abroad. The Association has a prestigious International Scientific Committee and a Strategic Committee of the local authorities which carries out functions of programmatic guidance and coordination of the international network of local institutions.
